Digital Prevention Services Portfolio (DPSP) is part of NHS England. We play a central part in the government's high-level strategy to build an NHS that's fit for the future:

analogue → digital
sickness → prevention
hospital → community

We build and maintain the essential digital infrastructure for NHS preventative healthcare. We build practical digital tools for patients and NHS staff; and provide specialist expertise in user research, service design, content, technology, and more.

Current activity

We’re currently focusing our efforts on:

  • digital services to support screening for breast cancer, bowel cancer and cervical cancer
  • digital services for organising, managing and recording vaccinations for COVID-19, flu, RSV and pertussis, with teams devoted to infant, maternity and school vaccinations
  • personalised prevention services, making it easy for people to understand their health risks and find the right services to stay well
